Protectorate Shipyards is the primary ship construction enterprise within the Iesta Foundation. Founded nearly three hundred years ago under the Royal Court, this shipbuilding group has provided the Foundation with reliable naval assets for many generations, and still exists as a prominent and highly-respected entity in the field—rivalled in quality by none other than the Psion Assembly and its Sāhari Drydock Administration. If reliability and conventionality in the open seas is your game, Protectorate is the name.

The Protectorate Shipyards ensign is identical to that of the Royal Fleet Protectorate—a deep green field bordered with a lighter green surrounding the Foundation leaf-and-flame Coat of Arms—but a thin, white cross is present over the green field, layered below the insignia. As a division of Protectorate, it’s only apt that both groups fly similar colours—assuming a shipyard-owned vessel ever needs to sail before changing hands to its permanent owner.
